Pangolins are considered good luck. We cannot depend on good luck to keep us from being deported to a prison in El Salvador or Guantanamo. That's what due process, the constitution, and rule of law are supposed to be for. Not with masked vigilante ICE agents roaming the streets illegally abducting people without warrants or any other form of due process.
Due process denied to anyone is due process denied to everyone.
In a functioning, healthy society, you're actually supposed to care about other people.
Only caring about your own rights is exactly how you lose them.
Medieval Snail-Cats show up in a couple of manuscripts. Nobody is sure what the symbolism means. People have always been a bit wacky. That's what makes them interesting. Each diverse individual contributes their own richness to humanity. Especially the ones who dream of snail-cats.
We the People are under attack in this country. All of us must stand together against this tyranny.
Do what you can with what you have wherever you are.

On the back: I would rather have a nation full of immigrants than even one billionaire.
Do billionaires even care about hedgehogs? Animals of any kind? From what I have seen, billionaires only care about making more money at the expense of everyone and everything else. (Like they don't have enough.) One of them even claimed empathy is a sin.
Yet we let billionaires buy their way into our government. So much for government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Especially FOR the people.
I think we all know greed is the sin. Empathy and compassion are virtues, which billionaires apparently do not have.
Women don't owe you anything.
As a society we 'owe' each other compassion and some common decency. Treat others as you would like to be treated. That is the contract. The opposite of a functioning society is trying to control other people and force them into what you want them to be or do.
Nazis and fascists do not adhere to this contract. Fascists want to make other people dead if they disagree. Hate is their weapon. Demeaning and killing your fellow human beings is not a society.
I am against fascism and I am not afraid.
Women don't owe you sex. Women don't owe you children. Women are not property. Oh, and transgender women ARE women and they don't owe you anything either.

In fact, if you are a billionaire, you are probably just GREEDY.
This dragon is not greedy. He has no hoard. He is all about generosity and compassion.
Wealth is not a virtue.
Compassion is a virtue.

I started making these cards in March when I was making a trip to Mississippi. The thought of traveling to such a hate-soaked conservative state with anti-women, anti-LGBTQ+, and pretty much ant-diversity of any kind laws required some sort of response. I handed out these cards and left them along the way in hopes of encouraging my fellow 'oddballs' and giving conservatives something to think about.
Kept making them because every day under this regime, some new, horrifying, fascist, proclamation issues forth.
